I’m all for interfaith family representation (hi dad! Thanks for driving me to all the Jewish things as a kid!), and this sweater manages to be U-G-L-Y and ain’t got no alibi for two holidays! Full points on design for that, but docking some for wearability because this one is going to probably need a lot of explaining. Festified Men’s Chanukah is Funakah ($54.99) What I enjoy about this one is that there really aren’t that many elements involved (see the repetition of the star and chai), but it still feels so crowded. I’m not entirely sure what those things are separating the stars (they look like tiny upside-down trees?), but this expensive eyesore is probably wearable to many an occasion. I could raise many of the same inquiries as I did with the “Jewish elf” shirt, but instead I’d like to focus on the fact that Rudolph, with his antlers as such, is not a kosher menorah - the candles that are not the shamash should all be the same height. I’d also like to note that the text looks like the output from a Galaga machine, which is fine, but that doesn’t really feel like Rudolph’s vibe. And maybe if you have a partner who’d find it cute, it’s cute, but this again falls into the “don’t want to explain this at an office holiday party” category. The “my” also looks like עכת (ayin-kalph-taw) to me, which isn’t a word in Hebrew to my knowledge, but still weird that it the typeface looks that much like a whole other alphabet. Today’s post is an interesting one, pretty fun actually. Recently I was looking at my stats, and saw that a lot of people were still reading the posts I did about Visualify, a website that gave you visual rundown of the music you listened to on Spotify, within much smaller time frames. It was a great alternative compared to waiting until the end of the year for your Spotify Wrapped. Unfortunately, the Visualify website has been down for a few months now. Upon seeing that quite a few of you were still clicking my Visualify link and reading the posts, I thought I’d share the alternative I’ve found, for the alternative I had.įestify basically has the same premise as Visualify, however, they’ve put a fun little twist on it. While it only shows your most listened to artists, rather than most listened to songs as well, they present it as your ultimate festival line-up, tailored to everyone’s listening habits, based on time frames of a month, six months and all time.
